Capt. Jimmy Miss Belmar Princess Update. Cod and Mackerel

Well folks friday we had good MACKEREL fishing when the weather settled down, Saturday we had a sprikle of MACKEREL in the morning when the weather was nasty and then the rest of the day was slow. Sunday we did lots of looking around only to find them practically in our backyard. 2 or 3 drifts in the afternoon produced hot action for the MACKEREL staying only 30-50ft under the boat for 3 hours of HEAVY pulling for those who worked at it. Don't write the MACKEREL season off yet !!!! This has been a unpredictable season with these fish somedays hanging mid water rather than on the bottom where we are used to having them. .

WE WILL CONTINUE TO SAIL DAILY FOR MACKEREL @ 7:30 AM

Reports from Montauk are very positive and we are looking very forward to the start of our Montauk Cod Safari. The last couple of days on our down time we were busy cleaning up the bunk room testing all the heaters getting the PRINCESS ship shape for our Cod Trips. WE ARE READY TO GO !!! Just need the rite weather and throw the fresh CLAMS on the boat and go. Last year we were pretty successful on these trip and looking forward to doing the same. Friday nite Feb 5th we leave @ 8:00 pm we have a few more spots left on it if anyone is interested , but it is a definate GO!!. If you are interested give us a call. All trips are limited to 40 people and the fare is $200 . Bunks and breakfast for everyone included in the price. RSVP required .
