Codfishing News and Updates 1/14/10


DAILY COD FISHING UPDATE 1/14


Cod fishing remains good in Montauk NY. Local Cod reports from the Viking Fleet were good on Wednesday the 13th with most anglers having their limit.

The Big Jamaica out of Brielle NJ reported a good catch on their offshore trip on 1/10. The trip produced some nice Pollock, cod, jumbo porgies, and ling. The Pollock weighed up to 30LBS and the cod weighed up to 25LBS. They also caught a good amount of jumbo porgies and some ling.

The Voyager out of Point Pleasant reported similar results on their Sunday trip with COD up to 25lbs, and some Hake, Big Porgies and Big Pollock to 30lbs.
